Dr Alan de Vos qualified as a dentist at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, in 1995. He moved to the UK in 2001 and has been principal dentist at Bowling Green Dental Surgery since 2005.
His clinical special interests are dental implants (placed with the Astra Tech system for over 15 years), cosmetic dentistry using the in-house CEREC Omnicam system, and facial aesthetics — for which he trained under the internationally recognised Professor Bob Khanna in 2003 and again in 2013.
He is the only dentist in Stevenage Bob Khanna has personally trained, and the practice is the only one in the town with an in-house CEREC Omnicam.
